When it crashed, I did a clean install of Empire/DME and STILL I crash. I installed to the correct directory and included the hotfix. Was playing it a few months ago but now whenever I install and try to launch through Steam the game crashes shortly after displaying the Darthmod Screen. Guess it depends on how much you play ship battles? Reinstalled Darthmod from the files on Moddb. I'm annoyed that Empire was released with almost no units and 1.0 -1-4 was a ctd nightmare! and also that Napoleon never really worked on an ATI card, at least for me! But I really think that Shogun 2 is very good.

But I do know that mods can really improve a game and I do use them! Never got round to it with total war for some reason, maybe I should!
